Coaches (U9 and above), if you are going to cancel a game out at the complex, please make sure you advise the referee coordinator. In the past few weeks, we have had referees show up for games that had been canceled by the coaches. NELSA still pays the referess for showing up for the game. So, please, if you are going to cancel a game, please make sure you email the referee coordinator.

Coaches, please do not use fields Orange No. 1 or Green No. 1 for games or practices until after March 31st. The fields are beaten up pretty bad and we are trying to give them time to heal so that they can be used for the Girls Western District next month. Thanks.

Coaches and Parents. Please make sure that you make every effort to reschedule any game that has been canceled either this past Saturday or back on February 16th. It is up to the coaches to make sure that they contact each other and schedule make up games. The NELSA office will not schedule the make up games. If you are in the U9 and above age groups, you will need to make sure you email the referee assignor and provide information about the make up game so that he can assign referees for your game. Thanks.

Thank you to all of the players, parents and coaches of the teams that participated in the Fourth Annual NELSA Springfest this past week. We had great weather and some great soccer all weekend long. The results were as follows:

U12 Boys:
Champion – NELSA Hawks

U12 Girls:
Champion – NELSA Bombers
Runner up – Shreveport STing
U14 Girls:
Champion – NELSA Scream
Runner up – NELSA Knockouts

Again, a great big thanks to all of the teams that played this past weekend. And, a very special thanks to our many volunteers, without whom we would not have been able to have such a wonderful tournament.
