If you had not attended the first tryout for U14G and wish to be considered for the team, please contact the NELSA office by phone at 361-0103 or email at soccer@nelsa.org. Your name will be taken and you will be advised when another date is set or a private tryout is scheduled for the U14G team.

U14G (born between 8/1/96 – 7/31/97) will take place on Monday, June 7, Wednesday, June 9 and Monday, June 28. Tryout times for June 7th and 9th is 5:45 – 6:45 pm at the NELSA Centurylink Soccer Complex in Chennault Park. June 28th tryouts will take place from 5:30 – 6:30 pm at Chennault Park. It is strongly recommended that you attend TWO tryouts.

U14B (born between 8/1/96 and 7/31/97) and older and U15G and older age groups up to U19 will be held Sunday, June 13 and Monday, June 14 and Monday, June 28. All Girls tryouts will take place from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. All boys tryouts will be from 6:45-7:45 pm. Tryouts will take place at the NELSA CenturyLink Soccer Complex in Chennault Park. It is strongly recommended that you attend TWO tryouts.

Please note that you must arrive early in order to sign in for the tryouts and receive a number. If your child wishes to play up out of their appropriate age group you must send a request to NELSA to do so PRIOR to their first tryout. Instructions will be sent back on how the request will be handled. It is important that NELSA obtain all current information on the player so the coaches may make contact with the players once LSA allows them. Fall soccer registration for children ages 4 to 18 will begin June 1, 2010 and end August 6, 2010. Your child must be 4 years of age before July 31, 2010 in order to be elgible to play.

Regular registration will be held July 1- August 6. Ages 7 and younger is $90 and ages 8 and older is $110.

Late registration after August 6th will be $100 for ages 7 and younger and $120 for ages 8 and older. Any player registration received after August 6th is subject to being wait-listed for player placement.

There is a $10 discount for each additional child registered in the household. Paid fees place your child on a team for BOTH fall and spring seasons. The cost of the uniform is not included in the registration fee.

Register for these courses ONLINE @ www.playlouisianasoccer.org – Coaches Corner. All registrations and fees must be received in the LSA Office by 5:00 pm on the Wednesday before the class begins. Walk-ins will not be allowed.

NATIONAL YOUTH LICENSE COURSE:

LSA and BRSA will host the National Youth License November 5 – 7 and 13 – 14, 2010. There is general information on the LSA website (www.lsa-soccer.org) about this event. The application and hotel information will be posted in the near future.

Other personal information pertaining to your soccer experiences is also appreciated.
