MAKEUP TRYOUT SESSION FOR U11-U13 BOYS and GIRLS IS SCHEDULED!  This session will occur on Thursday, May 21st at the ULM soccer complex.  Times are 5:30 – 6:30 pm for Girls and 6:45 – 7:45 pm for Boys.  Parents – please make sure your child checks in at the table and receives the same tryout number they had, if they attended the first tryout.  If they did not, please ask them to step forward and receive a number for the first time.

DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF RAIN THE AREA HAS RECEIVED, ALL TRYOUTS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED AS OF NOW.  THE D.O.C. WILL BE KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON THE WEATHER AND TRY TO ALLOW A 5 DAY ADVANCE NOTIFICATION OF THE NEXT TRYOUT.  PLEASE CONTINUE CHECKING THIS SITE FOR UPDATES TO THE 2nd SET OF TRYOUTS FOR THE U11-U13 BOYS AND GIRLS D1/PREMIER TEAMS.

Players MUST attend their age specific tryout EVEN if they are currently playing up on another team. In order for players to be CONSIDERED as a play up, including existing play ups, they must attend their age group tryout AND the tryout for the team they are requesting to play up on. BOTH tryouts are mandatory. In addition to this, player and or parents must submit, in writing via email or letter, to NELSA why their son or daughter wishes to play up and provide reasons why. NO DECISIONS REGARDING PLAY UPS WILL BE DISCUSSED OR RELEASED UNTIL AFTER ALL TRYOUTS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED.

Division One/Premier soccer is played at a higher competitive level than REC soccer.  These teams will travel (tournaments are chosen by each coach) around LA and in nearby states and play several games at home also.  Additional costs are incurred with these specialized teams (travel costs, uniform costs).  If your child is interested in playing a more competitive game, encourage them to tryout.  Coaches will speak with all parents about their concerns once a decision is made following tryouts.
