NELSA Referee Pay and requirements

NELSA Referees are certified referees. To become certified, see the information below on this page. 

Below is pay per game. Games at this level typically last an hour. 

U8 games: $25

U10 games: $30

U13 games: $40 for Center Referee and $30 for Assistant Referee

Becoming a Referee

Anyone 13 and older can become a grassroots referee. This makes it a great option for high schoolers and beyond that want to earn some extra money while supporting youth soccer in our area!
